Your telecom billing for $1 per customer!

As you can see on previous blog entries, we’ve been working on a new affordable telecom billing system for the last couple of months, and we are expecting to be done at some point in the middle of next year.

We’ve been receiving lots of emails, asking if there is an alternative telecom billing solution that can be used in the meantime, so we decided to offer what we’ve been doing for a couple of  telecom companies that recently approached us: We will host a database with your customer’s billing information and the call detail record (CDR) for every month, and then generate monthly invoices in a PDF format. Then, at the beginning of each month (or at your best convenience), all your telecom bills will be available for download from our secured ftp site.

Basically, all you need to do is send us the call usage from your telecom provider every month, and we will do the billing job for you. We will charge only 1 dollar for each customer you have.

As i mentioned in previous posts, our focus now is to finish an easy, user friendly, consulting free, and affordable Telecom (CDR or UDR based) Billing Software that will make life way easier for small interconnect or telecom companies that need to bill their customer telephone usage.

About a month ago, we started the data layer of this project, which is almost done.

As you can see in the screenshot; the next step will be to develop the web user interface, so beta users can take a look at what the product will look like and provide feedback for potential enhancements, even before the release date!

We’ll be posting screenshots of the user interface as we work on them so you could follow up on the ongoing work. So stay tuned :-)

In the meantime, we are offering to host a telecom billing service where all you need to do is send us the call usage from your telecom provider every month, and we will do the billing job for you. We will charge only 1 dollar for each customer you have.
